Here's another one of my new BB Coutures: Kamikaze. I expected it to be much more yellow toned from swatches I'd seen and was pleasantly surprised to see it greener in person. It has a very subtle  silver sparkle to it- it's still a creme, but it has just a bit of shimmer sprinkled in. A couple of my BBCs have this finish, and I like it a lot.

I topped it with a coat of American Apparel's Light Year because I thought it would go along with the the "sprinkle of sparkle" thing.

This is three coats of Kamikaze (and it needed all three) with one coat of Light Year. As disappointed as I was with some of the other American Apparel glitters, Light Year is pretty awesome. It's nothing unique- just a medium holographic hex glitter in a clear base. But it's a good one. And it's something everyone needs in their collection, I think. Holo polishes are such a thing right now, and I just can't get into it. They are way on the wrong side of "too much" IMO. But a sprinkle of holo glitter still gives you that "my nails are rainbows!" feeling, without being all "whoo look at my freaking nails!" Flashy, but not FLASHY- you know?
