Nail art is tacky. Except when it's not. Then it's awesome.

I don't grow my nails three inches long, or sharpen them into points, or get acrylics shaped like shovels. I don't glue rhinestones to them, or feathers, or sequins, or small household objects. I don't paint realistic miniature portraits on them, or bible verses, or a collection of corporate logos that represent my personality.

I have short nails because I work with my hands. I like to put polish on them, because then I don't bite them. They chip frequently so I change my polish often. Hence the blog.

I tend to favor simple, modern geometric designs, clashy color combinations, creme finishes, metallic accents, nude accents, and a little bit of glitter here and there. This is not a review-focused blog, but I will occasionally post one when something punches me in the face with awesome or makes me cry with disappointment.

Questions? Suggestions? Anything you want to see more of? Just leave me a comment.

  1. I love your about me section!!! We seem alot similar. I play around with alot of nail art and polish but when I go out I'm pretty low key. To be honest I usually just have plain one shade polish on. :os That's why I started in the blogging world because no one sees my nail art(or so I call it)
